If you know me, you have most probably heard about my Spaghetti Cake. It’s a regular in our household and so simple, crispy and good. It’s also slightly trashy because nothing of it is homemade but you can make the bolognese sauce yourself if you wish, I prefer it to be quick and it’s still super delicious!
I’m also a little ashamed to label the “Serving” correctly because if I was honest, I’d label it for 2. If you’re a normal eater, it should be enough for 4. But really we’re not normal and we eat the whole thing in twos.

Serving: 4
Ingredients
- 500g. Spaghetti
- 30g. grated parmesan
- 1 jar of Bolognese Sauce, I used Barilla
- 1 lemon
How to make Spaghetti Cake
Preheat the oven to 220ºC .
Cook the spaghetti in a pot of boiling and salted water according to the instructions, then drain and leave to steam dry.
Once the spaghetti is drained, put in the Bolognese Sauce, toss well and transfer it to a pan. Put the pan on your stove and leave the cake to bake from below for 10 minutes (the bottom of the cake will be super crispy!)
Sprinkle parmesan cheese on top of the cake and transfer the pan in the oven and bake for 15 minutes, or until golden and crisp on top.
Cut the cake and sprinkle with some fresh lemon-juice. Believe me, this step is a must.
Sprinkle with chili flakes if you like a little spice!
