Watermelon Margaritas

Do I really have to tell you why you should make these Watermelon Margaritas this weekend? First, it’s summer and the sun is out. Second, those are basically healthy. Third, they are really easy to make with just 5 ingredients.

Say no more fam.. Let’s mix up some margaritas!

Servings: 6

Ingredients

  • 2dl Tequila
  • 1dl Cointreau
  • juice of 3 limes
  • a quarter of a big watermelon of a whole mini watermelon
  • 1 tbsp agave syrup
  • a handful of ice
  • Sea salt and chile powder for glass rims, optional but recommended

How to make Watermelon Margaritas

  • In a blender, combine the tequila, cointreau, lime juice, watermelon, agave nectar and ice.
  • Mix sea salt and chile powder together in a small bowl. Lime and chile-salt the rim of 6 glasses and fill each with ice. Pour the watermelon margaritas into the glasses and garnish with the lime rounds.
